How to cook it

Three steps. That’s it.

Sauté the veg

Heat 2 tbsp oil, add garlic and your veg (egg or chicken too, if you like). 3–4 minutes on high.

Add the rice

Add 800 g cooked, cooled rice. Day-old rice fries best.

Toss in the full sachet

Sprinkle the whole sachet and toss for 2 minutes on high. Done.

Yes, salt is already in. Don't add any more. Each sachet also replaces soy sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce and pepper, so you just add rice and veggies.

To be honest, I usually make fried rice using all the sauces, so at first I was a bit worried about how this version would taste. Very Disappointing – Only Chilli Powder and Salt

I bought this product with a lot of excitement after watching the video. I thought I could easily make tasty Schezwan fried rice at home using just this masala.
But honestly, I was very disappointed.
It feels like the masala contains only chilli powder and salt. There was absolutely no proper Schezwan flavour, aroma, or taste. We even tried adding extra seasoning and salt, but still the fried rice didn’t get any proper taste.
I genuinely don’t understand how this was shown in the video as tasting so good and made people want to buy it. I bought it because I was really impressed by the way it was prepared in the video.
In the video, it looked like you could simply add this masala and make delicious fried rice without needing anything else. I trusted that and bought it, but the actual experience was completely different.
Very disappointing and honestly unfortunate. I expected much better from this product.

Good, but can be much better! :)

The classic one was really good however the schezwan one was a complete let down. It had an overpowering taste of chilli powder and fennel powder. I was expecting a more authentic Asian flavour. The flavour of garlic was missing. Try to bring out the Umami flavour through other ingredients if you are against using MSG. I hope you take this feedback constructively :)

Way Below expectation

Sorry to say this, but the Schezwan Fried Rice Masala was way below my expectations. It was nowhere close to what is claimed on your channels. Honestly, I really don’t understand how so many people are praising the taste—it tasted more like chilli powder simply added to the rice rather than a proper fried rice masala.

I was genuinely disappointed after trying it, especially considering the expectations created by the reviews and promotions
